Claudia Horne, Artist and Owner of UpDraft Studios
Claudia
started her art journey as a child assisting in her mother's classroom creating cartoons for bulletin boards. Since that time
Claudia's need to draw and paint has stayed with her, creating art works through out her high school and college career. After
a long break in the pursuit of her art, to raise 2 children, Claudia returned to her painting and drawing 12 years ago. She
first started in Acrylics, and colored pencil, then moved into working with watercolors
In 2006 Claudia branched out
into the areas of computer aided artwork and illustration.
Claudia is in the process of turning her love of art into
a business, creating greeting cards and note cards using reproductions of her artwork. Her goal is to use her art to establish
UPDRAFT STUDIOS, an Art Studio and Business Incubator where people who are differently challenged can explore their art, and
grow a business of their own.
